1924 - 2011
Peter’s funeral will be on Wednesday 19th October at 10.30am at St William of York Catholic Church, 4 Brockley Road, SE23 1PS. The Rev. Francis Capener is taking the service.
After the service the cortege will pass by Kent House Leisure Gardens en route to Hither Green Cemetery for the cremation at 12.15pm and afterwards to Kent House Leisure Gardens for refreshments.
No flowers please but donations if desired to Bees for Development or The Stroke Association, to be sent to The Funeral Centre, 43-47 Rushey Green, London, SE6 4AS. The only flowers that will on the coffin will be a 'BEE' and flowers from Kent House Leisure Gardens. |

Information on these has just been sent out to secretaries, and posted in the BALGF website. As a site are automatically entered for the large site competition (Spencer May) and in previous years various of our members have done well in the individual competitions.
One thing I can't find in the information sent is when the competition is - maybe because this is not revealed precisely until the very day - but it's normally in the first week of July.

Our site management team has been working with contractors hired by one of our Kent House Road neighbours, who realised the rest of a lombardy poplar in his garden was about to fall down - some came down last year. 
Thankfully, no one was hurt, and there is now a supply of timber which tenants can take away while stocks last. It may also be on sale on Open Day next Sunday. .jpg)
